Wes Pierson
City Manager
City of Frisco
Wes Pierson was appointed Frisco City Manager in May 2022. He has more than 14 years of city management experience, including 7 years as city manager in the Town of Addison. Pierson also served the cities of Corpus Christi and Allen. Pierson follows George Purefoy, the city’s first city manager, who retired after more than 34 years of service.

Ben Brezina
Assistant City Manager

Ben Brezina has served the City of Frisco since 2007, and has been Assistant City Manager since 2018. He has experience in intergovernmental affairs, executive project management, contract administration, strategic planning, performance management, process improvement and operational efficiency studies. Native to Midland, Texas, Ben has been a resident of Frisco since 2010.

Jason Ford
President
Frisco Economic Development Corporation
Jason Ford serves as President of the Frisco Economic Development Corporation. Jason joined FEDC in May 2019 as Vice President and was promoted to President in 2021. As President, he is responsible for the board governance, strategy and day-to-day operations of the organization. He is also actively involved in high level business development. In his previous role, he led the EDC’s business development program and staff focused on business recruitment, retention-expansion, and technology-innovation.

Gloria Salinas

Gloria Salinas currently serves as the Vice President of the Frisco Economic Development Corporation where she leads the business attraction, retention and expansion, innovation, and research teams in strategic corporate recruitment initiatives to attract headquarters, corporate offices and emerging tech industries to Frisco – the fastest growing city in the nation. Frisco’s continued growth in the areas of technology, innovation, and smart cities are also a key focus for Gloria and the team.

Stefanie Wagoner
Director of Business Retention & Expansion
Frisco Economic Development Corporation
Stefanie Wagoner has served as the Director of Business Retention and Expansion for the Frisco Economic Development Corporation since January 2008. During her time with FEDC, Stefanie has created a wide variety of programming geared toward the success and ‘corporate root planting’ of Frisco’s major employers. She has facilitated more than 50 corporate expansions, resulting in over 1.5 million square feet of space occupied, nearly $81.5 million in potential capital investment, representing a potential of 3,500 direct jobs being retained or created. In 2020, she participated in the inaugural TEDxFrisco Talk, focusing on the importance of partnerships in a Talk titled “It Takes A Village to Raise a Community.”
