Retention & Expansion Assistance
The Frisco EDC is committed to job growth and serving new and existing Frisco businesses through the development and implementation of progressive initiatives. The EDC also works diligently to support companies ranging from national brands to sports organizations and more, to expand and reach their fullest potential.
Here is how we help:
With a thriving business landscape as active as the City of Frisco’s, the EDC team remains in close communication with the changing needs of area businesses. The EDC’s Director of Business Retention & Expansion engages closely with companies one-on-one at an executive level to identify issues and areas of opportunity.
Local and regional decision makers and representatives from a broad range of industries, utilities, community stakeholder, agencies and educators are dedicated to identifying and providing resources and assistance to promote the success of Frisco businesses.
The Frisco Forum is a quarterly networking event/lunch for company vice presidents and C-suite executives to discuss topics ranging from security and international trade to corporate growth and the status and future of development in Frisco, including recent corporate challenges and realignment related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A network of human resources directors throughout Frisco meet regularly to collaborate and discuss best practices, challenges, workforce solutions and training opportunities.
Focused on connecting Frisco’s young professionals (ages 21-40) and providing diversity of information and growth opportunities, FYP is a highly successful partnership of the Frisco EDC and the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
The Frisco EDC works with companies currently located in the city that are seeking incentives for upcoming business expansion and growth. For more information, contact the Frisco EDC's Business Retention and Expansion division at 972-292-5150.
