Frisco ISD’s commitment to “know every student by name and need” is at the heart of everything they do. This commitment is the basis for the district's small-school model, which ensures every student receives a nurturing, positive experience from grade school through high school and is prepared for whatever path the student chooses after graduation.
Beyond the classroom, Frisco provides a rich student life, from the arts and music to academics and athletics. Frisco was named “The Best Place to raise an athlete,” by Men’s Journal. The high caliber of its facilities, including The Star in Frisco, home of The Dallas Cowboys, plays host to area high school football and soccer tournaments.
Frisco ISD continues to keep pace with the city's strong population growth, supported by the community with bond issues passing in 2014 ($775 million / 77% voter approval) and in 2018 ($691 million construction bond and Tax Ratification Election).
The District’s award-winning Frisco ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center offers hands-on learning with more than 30 programs for students in 9th through 12th grades.

In 2020, Frisco private schools served nearly 3,500 students with a student-teacher ratio of 10:1, allowing for a personalized student education and experience.

Designed to integrate into the natural beauty, trails, and parkland, The Grove at Frisco Commons is a contemporary 30,000-square-foot adult activity center that provides a welcoming and safe environment for active adults aged 50+.
