A recent study by CoworkingCafe researchers named Frisco, Texas, as the most affordable city for remote workers in the state and the fourth nationwide. Frisco excels in affordability, economic stability, connectivity, and a strong remote work culture. Key factors include having the second-highest share of remote workers in the country at 40%, the fifth-best broadband coverage at 99.5%, proximity to three major airports, and an average internet speed of 526.09 Mbps. Additionally, Frisco boasts a low unemployment rate of 2.4% and a median income of $72,421, ranking 11th nationally for this metric.

The CoworkingCafe study analyzed nearly 200 cities based on 15 metrics, such as cost of living, median income, and teleworker share, to determine the most affordable cities for remote work in the U.S.
