How do you fuel a dynamic city like Frisco? Greg Stevens, CEO of KidZania USA says, "By empowering future generations of global citizens."

KidZania, an interactive education concept designed for kids ages 4 – 14, will open its first U.S. location in Frisco, Texas in fall 2019 with CEO Greg Stevens at the helm. KidZania provides kids with the unprecedented opportunity to role-play and explore more than 100 careers, such as firefighter, pilot, surgeon, journalist, chef, actor and many more. Each interactive activity is designed to empower kids with essential life skills including communication, problem solving, creativity and teamwork.

KidZania is a kid-size "city" that resembles Frisco and the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It delivers the most authentic experience through state-of-the-art technology and design. It will open in a newly constructed building that adjoins Stonebriar Centre. "Frisco is one of the most important emerging markets in the U.S. The community is thriving with families from diverse cultures and backgrounds, and the schools are among the best in the country. We appreciate how the community of Frisco has provided us with an outpouring of support," says Stevens.

KidZania's immersive learning experiences are developed by education experts and align with national and local standards, enhancing what the kids are learning every day in the classroom. "This is why KidZania emerges as the preferred destination for school field trips," says Stevens.

Financial literacy is taught through KidZania's unique currency, called KidZos. Each of the 100 plus careers at KidZania earns a specific amount of KidZos (minus taxes, of course). Kids can then decide how they want to spend the KidZos. Options include shopping at the toy store, opening a savings account at the bank, giving charitably, or holding onto your KidZos for future visits. The fully functioning economic cycle inside KidZania teaches fiscal responsibility and money management.

Globally, KidZania's professions are developed in partnership with more than 900 industry partners from the Fortune 500 list, lending credibility and authenticity to each interactive experience. Some of the initial industry partners at KidZania in Frisco include BIC; MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes; Pie Five Pizza; Planet Fitness; SMU (Southern Methodist University); Spotify; Takis; Texas Health Resources; and WFAA, North Texas' ABC affiliate.

With the addition of KidZania, Frisco is even more focused on educating and empowering future generations of leaders. Are you ready to see yourself in Frisco?
